Net Communities’ Ideal Day Out campaign came into being after we were asked to deliver an innovative solution to stimulate interest around the launch of the premium Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 smartphone.
Our socially engaging competition gave entrants the opportunity to win an Ideal Day Out for themselves and 10 friends worth up to £10,000 cash value.
The Ideal Day Out campaign featured an interactive competition website, high impact graphical advertising, extensive social media promotion across multiple channels and an advocacy programme to encourage sharing.
Our rich media competition helped Sony engage proactively with its target audience and achieve impressive sales for its product, including bestseller status in a number of countries.
Sony was so impressed by the Ideal Day Out competition website it ended up integrating it into its own homepage.
